Since the success I had with my Caldecott/Newbery sticker query, I figured I'd try another question. I'm a first year media specialist with question from a veteran teacher. She is looking for a story about measurement in which the king wants things measured, and people measure their land with their feet, but everyone's feet are different sizes so it's not fair. Sorry I can't provide much more, although it might be a picture book. I know this is similar to the "book with the red cover" but I'd appreciate any clues you can think of. As an aside, the other day a first grader asked if I had the book she was looking at last week with the girl covering her face with her hands. I pulled "Rough Faced Girl" off the shelf, and she looked at my para in amazement and said "how did she do that?" Thank you for any help!
