Hello all, I am working with intermediate elementary students for the first time in years and my knowledge of popular chapter fiction is rather stagnant. IMHO the fiction collection in my new building is small, out-dated, and too dependent on multiple copies of award winners. My book budget is small, so I want to make the best choices for my dollar. Would those of you "in the know" please share with me those titles and series that you consider "must haves" for a school library serving grades 3, 4, and 5? Thank you, and I will post a hit if I receive requests.
