Hi folks Do you live in a place called Palmerston anywhere in the world? Do you know anyone in a school/ village/ town/ city/ anything called Palmerston? If you do, then the kids at Palmerston District Primary in Canberra. the national capital of Australia would like to hear from you! Our new school year begins next week, and each year I like to exploit this medium to help them understand the world's geography a bit better. So we would like to find out where all the Palmerstons are! If you could send me an email, a postcard, a picture or even a link to a page that tells us where your Palmerston is, what sort of environment it is (country down, big city etc) and any other useful information (like who your Palmerston was named after), then we could have a most interesting project to start the new year. I would certainly appreciate it - and I apologise if you get this message more than once but I have sent it to every list I belong to - please feel free to forward it to anyone who might be able to be involved!
