TARGET: Question for NY SLMSs

Hello all,

I have sent e-mails to a few with this same question,
but wanted to ask those "in the know" as I am soon
embarking on interviews- what is a "placement file?"

I have heard this term used, and some job ads have
mentioned to bring copies of them. Is this something a
newbie like me would have yet? A friend from college who
is a classroom teacher I think had one established
through the school that had a placement center and sent
her on interviews.

Stupid question, I think I should know this one- but it
is all new to me.
