TECH : Switching to Spectrum

Hi,
  I'm on the verge (deadline for decision is Thursday) of making the switch
from my old Winnebago DOS Circ/Cat to Spectrum.   If you have done the same
thing,  how much trouble/work was it to make the switch?  What were the
biggest problems?  Our current set up is PCs but the rest of the school is
MAC.  Since none of my current computers, according to Sagebrush, will work
as a server  and since Sagebrush assures me  that "mixing and matching" will
work, we are probably going to go with a MAC server,  using the PCs for
circulation and catalogs.   Has anyone else done this?  We wouldn't actually
do the conversion until summer.  Thanks for any input you can give me.
