Hi all,

I am collaborating on a new project with an 8th grade language arts =
teacher. He has several sections of "enriched" language arts and many of =
those students don't use the school media center because they think we =
don't have books that are advanced enough for them. We are going to have =
the kids read books that we don't have in our library and recommend =
advanced and adult titles for me to purchase. What I am looking for are =
some bibliographies and lists of authors for them to consider. They are =
coming in next week to search our public library catalog and Amazon to =
come up with ideas of authors and titles to read.=20

If you have ideas for web sites to help them identify books and authors I =
would love to have them. Also, if you have or know of bibliographies that =
might help them stretch their thinking, that would be great, too.=20

I will post a hit of what I find out. Thanks in advance for your help.

Marcia
