Hello! One of my OPAC terminals is a Compaq Presarion 4550; it has a strange crescent-shaped button on the front of the tower I've been told is a sleep button. (Hey, I'm a MAC person, bear with me!) I hate it, because whenever the students come in, they think the computer is turned off. In addition, once the computer goes into sleep mode, and you wake it up and try to go into a program, it gives you an illegal message and sends you back to the desktop. After that, it works fine. Everyone tells me this can be turned off, but so far no one has managed to do so. I've looked into settings, but the ones for sleep mode are all turned off. Any suggestions? Thanks so much for your help! Louise C.
