Hello Friends! I just wanted to share some good news that, once again,
shows how versatile and incredible we all are! Cindy Hume, media
specialist at Granville Wells Elementary in Indiana, was recently
awarded the double honor of being named Mrs. Boone County 2002 and also
Mrs. Congeniality. This is a county-wide pageant which takes place
each year in Boone County (for over 50 years now!) and the queen reigns
over the huge 4th of July festival for our area. Cindy will be riding
in the parade, attending numerous community-sponsored events and
reigning over all kinds of contests and activities during this nearly 2
week long celebration! In addition, she also attends many other county
events over the year! I am so very proud of Cindy for winning this
double honor, which just goes to show how she not only does a great job
in her building but is active and well-thought of in the community.
