Ohio Educational Library Media Association is sponsoring two one credit
workshops in Dublin, Ohio this summer.

Selection Policy and Copyright Update - August 12-13

Description: A new learning environment is continuously replacing the
standard textbook teaching approach. This new environment is that of

federal marshals entered unannounced and did and SPAudit or Microsoft
ask to see documentation of your software licenses, would you stand the
test?

The main focus of this workshop is to help districts in updating
policy to meet the challenge of the new learning environment. The role
a Material Selection Policy and a Copyright Policy plays i n
strengthening a district's position before an incident occurs will be
highlighted. Staff development procedures will be discussed.
