Grolier New Book of Knowledge

My sister has an inquisitive toddler who asks things like "I know why bees =
land on flowers, why do butterflies?" She found the Grolier New BOok of =
KNowledge at the library, in the circulating section, adn tried to check =
it out but was told it was "reference." Oh, well.=20
   Next time she went back, it was *gone.* NOt in the reference section, =
not circulating, but gone to the Great Weed Patch... she'd like to know =
what she should look for (tho' of course she looked at what else the =
library had but it was either to simple or too hard)  that would be, as =
she said, "Britannica for little kids."  She did some surfing and poking =
around on her own and couldn't find what the library had; there were some =
things available on a subscription basis but she's sure he'll ask a =
question from volume 13 before the ones in volume 3 :)

Any suggestions?=20
