My library is decorated in early Thrift Shop. I haunt 3 in my neighborhood and have amassed a lovely collection (100+) of never used stuffed animals and puppets (Folkimans, Gund, and other "good" brands), book characters (Arthur and all his buds) and Beanie Babies (some real, some fake) that are scattered all over my library- on the shelves, lounging on top of the computers and on the circulation desks. I've found wreaths for my doors, baskets to fill with something suitable to the season, nylon seasonal flags, table cloths & fabric which form a backdrop for displays and enough China bunnies and bears to stock a craft store. They cost me pennies on the dollar and I can change things out on a monthly basis. Someday when I retire I will have a mega garage sale and pass it all on to others.
