Hi everyone, I hope you are having a good summer, vacationing etc., but in the middle of this I am asking for your help. I am putting together a fall book order and am lacking titles of good science and sports books. With regard to science, our curriculum emphasizes, reptiles (lower school), astronomy (gr. 3), electricity and simple machines (4th and 5th gr.), and animal migration (gr. 7--8). If you have any titles (reference or just nonfiction titles) that fit into any of these categories I'd most appreciate hearing about them. I'm also very low on current sports materials. I would like to purchase a single volume sports encyclopedia (the one we have dates from the 1970s)--and other sports titles that particularly appeal to you. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me, from Helen Dittmer, Redwood Day School, Oakland, CA <hdittme@ix.netcom.com> =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
