LM_NET Archive

I had to share this from my Teachers Calendar after I read it this
morning. I think it ties in well with this week's discussions of both
budget shortfalls and the quotations author.

"Every time you stop a school, you will have to build a jail. What you
gain at one end you lose at the other. It's like feeding a dog on his own
tail. It won't fatten the dog." -- Mark Twain

Surely, we should have learned this lesson during the last century. How
long will we have to repeat it before we learn this from our own history.
