A few requested a HIT on this topic - here's what I received. Thanks to everyone for your help, Theresa Collins Media Specialist Goshen High School 401 Lincolnway East Goshen, IN 46526 574.533.8651 ext. 1303 tcollins@goshenschools.org=20 Victor Kamkin Inc. 4956 Boiling Brook Parkway Rockville, MD 20852 301-881-5973 They have some translations of English language titles, some few of = which are specifically YA. They have mostly titles by Russian language = authors, both classic and popular. I have asked my Russian-speaking students and = the folks at Victor Kamkin to help me select titles that sound good for YA, = and all were very helpful. I have also bought several classic titles. The students have told me that they came with very, very few books of their = own. Try this book seller that is local for me. She was great helping me = find arabic books for a student of mine. She even had Harry Potter in a variety of = languages! International Book Ctr =20 2391 Auburn Rd,Utica,MI 48317=20 Phone: (586) 254-7230 Good luck! We've been struggling with this, too. Follett may have a few titles. Another place I've been successful is at local Russian-owned stores. Also at www.powells.com. The other issue is that there doesn't appear to be much in the way of YA Russian lit, but you can find translations of American and British titles. Russian House LTD New York, NY Tel: 212-685-1010 Russia@russianhouse.net I've had very good, prompt service. They have separate Adult and = Children catalogs. All titles come with English annotations. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
