Our school district is working with the public library to plan a citywide read during the spring and summer of 2003. We are looking for books with the theme of "Prairie", but I would also be interested in books with a midwestern setting. We would like to choose one book each for primary, intermediate, teen, and adult readers. It would be great to have "one" book, but the consensus seems to be to have everybody able to their own reading. Thanks in advance to all respondents.
