Many thanks to all the experts who answered my question about how to remove these from the covers of books. So, here are the choices: Goo Gone seemed to be the most popular answer. Other people suggested the following: Dissolve It (avail. at WalMart), Un-Do, Gumout, Goof Off (might smear the reds and pinks, also clean bks with a baby wipe afterwards), Avon Skin-So Soft (we should make a list of all the things this product does other than what it was intended to do when Avon made it! LOL!), Windex and then followed by Goo Gone, Hair dryer and then rubber cement thinner, lighter fluid, and a product from Demco (name unknown) but it has a mechanism with a spout.
