Yesterday I sent a list of suggestions that people sent. Today one person who
sent a suggestion, sent me a correction that I am going to pass on to you.
Here is her copy.
My brain must have gone on vacation when I sent you the info about label
removers... DO NOT use Goof Off on books, especially those with plastic
covers!!! It will completely ruin plastic. I had talked to my mom about
using Goof Off for cleaning around the house, which is why the name was in my
mind... what I meant to recommend to you was Goo Gone, which you apparently
got many recommendations for anyhow. Un-Du was the product that ruined
Curious George (reds and pinks), and the Goo Gone has smeared a few inks as
well (reds, pinks, and especially blacks).
I'm so sorry about the misinformation. My only excuse is a vacationing
brain...
