I heard Mary Pope Osborn speak at a conference in March, and she told us
about a book she had just finished writing called New York's Bravest. Random
House wanted her to finish it quickly so that it could be out in time for
the anniversary of 911. She gave us a preview of the book, and it was just
wonderful. It is a "tall tale" of a New York City firefighter. Amazon.com
says it is scheduled to be published in August.
