Subject civil war fictional books

Hi! My husband & I are Civil War reenactors sa well as library media
specilaist. For the past four years we have done library conferences on
print and non-print materials on the civil war. I'll list a few fiction
tiltes that we recommend. Soldier's Heart by Gary Paulsen, Which way
Freedom, Out from this place, and I thought my soul would rise and fly: The
diary of Patsy, a freed girl by Joyce Hansen, A civil war diary by Barry
Denenberg. The last 2 are fictious diaries part of the Scholastic's Dear
America series. Across Five Aprils by Irene Hunt. Some of the American Girl
Series such as Addy learns a lesson.

If you would like a copy of our bibliography just let us know. I would send
via email but you must have the student writing center MAC version because
it does not translate.
