Yes, there is a MLA and APA format for on-line resources. I'm reorganizing our library sites so I can't point to a permanent spot for our district (using MLA format) example page. However, Ahmanson Library has a comprehensive one: http://library.campbellhall.org/mla%20bibliography.htm Robert Eiffert, Librarian Image Elementary, Vancouver WA www.ima.egreen.wednet.edu/library.html beiffert@egreen.wednet.edu Elementary Library BLog www.crypticmachinery.com robert@crypticmachinery.com beiffert@attbi.com -----Original Message----- From: School Library Media & Network Communications [mailto:LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU] On Behalf Of Hildegarde Hammond Sent: Saturday, March 02, 2002 9:14 PM To: LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU Subject: TARGET: Citing internet sources in a bibliography I work in a K-5 public school in N.Y.C. and I am currently helping some fourth graders with their research reports. How should they be listing internet sources in their report bibliographies? Is the web site address sufficient? Is there a special format for these kinds of references? This probably sounds like a dumb question, but the last time I wrote a term paper there was no internet.
