Hi All,

Thanks to those of you who offered to review my new book, Collaborating to
Meet Standards; Teacher/Librarian Partnerships K-6 in your state newsletter
or journal. I'll be submitting my reviewer list at noon today here on the
east coast, so if there's any last minute interest, e-mail this morning.

My current question is this. I am working on a fabulous new collaborative
project with a fourth grade colleague. In part (this is an integrated unit
weaving social studies, science, language arts, information skills, and
technology), we are asking kids to research a single specific example of a
chosen land or water form. For instance, students have varied topics such
as Saginaw VALLEY, Happy CANYON, Delaware RIVER, LAKE Superior, Galveston
BAY, Appalachian MOUNTAINS. I'm looking for a few great websites where
kids can find reliable information about their specific land or water form,
geographically and geologically speaking, and haven't found just the right
ones yet. Can anyone help?

Thanks!
Toni
