Colleagues -

I would cut back on something else before I would
discontinue SLJ. The information in it affects my
entire library program. It is not only a valuable
collection development tool, but the information on
conferences, websites, programs and activities, and
library research are helpful when presenting budgets
and other requests to administrators.

I share the reviews with my staff for their input. I
think it makes them more aware of not buying from just
a catalog description.
