GEN:Name of song and the artist

Dear Members-
       I have been reading the book Funny Boy and the Chitchatting Cheeses
from Chattanooga by Dan Gutman aloud in preparation for his visit to our
school. In the book he mentions the lines from a song "The purpose of a man
is to love a woman and the purpose of a woman is to love a man". I need the
name of the song and the singer. I think it is called The Game of Love. Any
help would be appreciated. Thanks.
