Our district will be switching over to an online catalog that can also permit students to access the internet. This Epixtech opac will link to Google based on the search term the patron enters. The issue we are pondering is how to deal with the students who do not have parental permission to use the internet. Our state mandates that an AUP be on file in the district and that teachers supervise internet access. So, if your system's OPAC functions this way or in a similar manner, could you please indicate your policy or the mechanics in dealing with this concern? Please reply to me directly.
