I believe that the question originally came from a colleague who was
struggling with what has become a reality for many of us.  VERY limited
budgets -- sometimes as low as a $0.50 per child in school.  The worth of
the journals is not the question.  The question is can you justify the cost
of a subscription when it will cost 10-20% or more of your budget for books?
