To me there is a cost of doing business and purchasing selection tools and journals in are profession is an expected cost. In Pennsylvania, many physicians are leaving the state and high risk practices such as obstetrics because of the apparent high costs of medical malpractice insurance resulting from large jury awards. I would hate to think my physician would decide to take economies by stopping his subscription to the "New England Journal of Medicine" and other critical journals in his field. As is often said, if you have to ask the price of a yacht, perhaps you should not own one. Lawrence L.
