Greetings! I am a student at the College of St. Catherine and I am
interested in compiling a list of resources aimed at both gay and straight
high school students (upper level) concerning homosexuality. I am
interested one day in starting a gay/straight alliance and I would like
your opinion on the best websites, books, videos, zines, etc which deal
with this topic. The books I have so far are:
Passages of Pride - Kurt Chandler
The Shared Heart - Adam Mastoon
Two Teenagers in Twenty - Ann Heron, ed.
Revolutionary Voices - Amy Sonnie, ed.
Hearing Us Out - Roger Sutton
Queer 13 - Clifford Chase, ed.
Being Different - Larry Dane Brimner
I KNOW there are more books and resources out there, and I have been
searching around, but I want resources both gay and straight teens will
find interesting which will be educational at the same time. If anyone can
recommend what they consider to be the best resources in this area, I would
appreciate it. I will compile a list of resources for the listserv later
on. Thanks for your help!
