Women inventors

Dear LM_Netters,
    I am looking for information for my fifth and sixth grade students on the 
following women inventors:
   Mary Olliden Weaver--Inventor of the super slurper
   Ellen Eglui--Inventor of the clothes wringer
   Si Ling Chi--Legendary Empress of China, inventor of silk

    I would appreciate any information you are able to give me on these women.
