Dear All,
I wanted to share a highly successful author-illustrator visit to my
school today. The visitor was Douglas Florian and my children were very
enthusiastic about his presentation. He shared his life, his poetry as
well as his illustrations with the different grades. He explained
devices that he uses to create poems as well as art techniques that are
the trademark of his work.
He lives in NYC but assured me that he is available for visits in the
tri-state area as well as other parts of the country.
