LM_NET Archive

Hello all,

I haven't necessaily gotten the inappropriate e-mail, but I have so much
SPAM to delete I may have just deleted it- I get enough as it is!

what I did ge was mail a few times from "Microsoft Security" with an .exe
file attachment as a security patch. Yes, that's a "WORM" and scours
newsgroup addresses, and this is the only listserv I belong to.

The .exe may be some sort of spyware, I think. I double-checked its
authenticity on a Microsoft ng, btw- I wanted to think it was in fact real
as the patch sounded much-needed- keeps executable files from opening by
themselves in e-mail! A problem I did have the other week!!
