Our school got a small grant, which we had written up in a real hurry, for 2 Palm Pilots with Palm Reader. The intention was to offer 2 classes of spec. ed. kids another way to read books. Buying the Palm M125s is not a problem, but in order to download ebooks from Palm requires a personal credit card. Our schools in NJ do not reimburse for this kind of thing. Although I did a fair amount of research, I'm still not sure that all forms of ebooks are equal, or reader-specific. Palm, Inc. has not responded to my emails. Are there other sources for children's chapter books that will download onto our Palms? I would greatly appreciate your advice and experience. Thanks.
