Hi! By this time of the year, my elementary kids are tired of the programs we have in the computer lab. They are always begging me to go onto the internet. Unfortunately, what they want to do is go to places like Cartoon Network, etc. and play arcade-style games. I always say that our school lab is not an arcade and we use the computers as tools, and the internet as a research tool. Blah, blah, blah. I was wondering if any of you know of web sites that are educational AND the kids LIKE them? I would like to create an "ok" list of bookmarks that I can let students go to after they complete their assignments. Places like Funbrain, BrainPop, etc. Thanks from me and my students!
