I work with K-5 and was unsure how to answer this request for one of my school's teachers. She has a nephew going away to boarding school as a sophomore and wants to give him a "basket of books" (reference materials) to have in his room. Do you have a favorite dictionary, thesaurus, or other must-have desk reference for high school students? I don't know if he will have Internet access in his room or not, so we are looking mainly for print sources. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
