Two students have a question about the title of a book. Their fourth grad= e teacher read about half of this book to their class, and now they want = to finish it (the girls are now in tenth grade). It was about some childr= en in a town (or larger area) who were immune to an outbreak of a disease= (?) that killed all of the adults in their community. The children had t= o find ways to survive; leaders arose. There was conflict between faction= s. The two students are very interested in finding out the conclusion to = this book. Does anyone recognize this book? If you can, email me at the a= ddress below. Thanks.
