Our AP students do research on specific topics---the Romantic
Period, settings in American novels, Russian topics, but our
college bound students write papers on general topics. Our
list is old and needs "rejuvenating." I would love to hear
what research topics, something other than abortion and gun
control, students are choosing in other places. Also, our
freshman AP class does a small paper on famous people, but I
really want to "upgrade" that list to people who make
contributions to our society rather than people like Pamela
Anderson and Cindy Crawford. Any input on these will be
appreciated. Thanks for your help.
