Dear Friends, I have been given $500 to spend that I would like to use to strengthen the Native American subject area of my PreK-5 library media center. I would like to be able to buy a variety of materials, such as videos, curriculum materials, books, reference books, posters, etc. The catch is that I am required to spend the whole amount with one vendor. Does anyone know of a vendor that has high quality materials on Native Americans that would have this variety of materials? Being from Oklahoma, I would also like to have resources that particularly cover the tribes prominent in our state. I have searched the archives. I also am familiar with the website Oyate. They seem like an excellent resource except that many of our state's tribes are not highly represented there. Also, I would like to have more curriculum materials to choose from. The perfect catalog or vendor probably does not exist, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. Many thanks.
