I am in need of suggestions for fundraisers. I will be running a trip to DC for our 8th graders last year for the first time. The trip is over $600 so fundraising is necessary. At my former district, we had the students sell raffle tickets. I have since found out that the only people who can buy or SELL raffle tickets in Michigan are those over 18 years of age. I am toying with having parents pick up and sell the tickets which might make the whole process easier since I won't have to worry about students bringing money and stubs to school. I am in need of finding some other fundraiser that would let each student raise money for his/her trip rather than just acquiring a pool of money. Any thoughts? Thanks, H.
