We always tell the kindergarten students about the copyright date of a
book. We explain it as the year the book was born. They often look for
the copyright date when they check out a book.
Today, one boy discovered that his birthday was on his library card. He
began to look at the cards of the other students who were waiting in the
check out line. He loudly and proudly declared that the little girl in
front of him was published in the same year as he.
Our spring break begins tomorrow afternoon!
