fancy letters

Good evening folks,

Could someone please tell me the protocol for putting the fancy letters
behind one's name.  Is it:

Pam Nutt, Ed.S
Media Specialist

Or is it:

Pam Nutt, Media Specialist, Ed.S

It has been a constant battle at my school as to the proper way to address
when writing.  I say, when in doubt, leave it out!
