Has anyone replaced a battery in an iMac DV 400MHz? I realize the user information says to have a certified person do the battery replacement. However, that hasn't stopped me in the past. I've opened the cases of older iMacs but not the ones that have the easy access for adding memory. Any advice or solutions? An added note. The date reverts sporadically, once a month or so, to 1904. It is not plugged into a power strip but into an APC UPS Backup. Thanks for your help.
