Hi! I found a timely and fun resource that could be used to promote reading. Messages and other little surprises hidden in books, videos, computer software, music, movies and more are called Easter Eggs. The Easter Egg Archive is a Web site that lists thousands of Easter Eggs. The Easter Egg Archive http://www.eeggs.com/ This is a wonderful resource if you want to create a list of Easter eggs in order to challenge your students to go on an reading egg hunt. The Easter Egg Archive also has an intriguing companion site that lists mistakes in books, movies, TV shows, and quotations. It is: Slipups.com http://www.slipups.com/ Both sites encourage individuals to submit possible items for inclusion. -- Sincerely, Deb Logan Librarian/Media Specialist Mount Gilead High School Mount Gilead, OH OELMA Central Region Director OELMA Advocacy Chair MAILTO:jd3logan@bright.net http://www.deblogan.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
