Julie,

According to my _Dictionary of Last Lines_, 'He is not dead
-- he is just away" is the last line of James Witcomb Riley's
"Away." It can be found in BLRP, TreFT, TRV, and WGRP.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to pull this dusty,
unused index off the shelf for SOMEONE <grin>!

line: s/he's isn't gone, s/he's just away. I have tried several
Internet search engines and some of our collections of
poetry. She doesn't have any clue how the poem starts, only
how it ends. Does this ring any bells for anyone?
