I am writing a grant and I need collection info. Does anyone have a source that i can document that refers to: *Within a collection, what should be the percentages of fiction, nonfiction= , professional, easy/picture...etc. *Info about the average size of a quality library collection for K-5. *Info about what the average age of a collection / and it's sections = should be. I've pulled all my Follett data and it's BAD.....I'm hoping that I can = find an authoritative source that will help booster my claim that you must = fund a library and keep it current. thanks, if anyone can help me Jim McGinnis Fruit Valley Elem, VAncouver, WA jmcginni@vansd.org =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
