Our technoloyg coordinator is getting a Master's in Educational Technology. One of his assignments is to post lesson plans on his website. His question is can he use a paragraph or 2 out of a book (giving credit as to where the paragraph came from) and include questions (made up by him)? He does not want to spend the time it would take to make up paragraphs and questions, too. Does he need permission to use these paragraphs from the author/publisher or would it be enough just to list where the paragraph came from? Since it would be posted on the internet I wasn't sure. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for your help.
