Target:3rd Grade books about cultural diversity

Do you have a set of books that you like about a day in the life of children
in various countries?

I would also like recommendations for books to use with 3rd graders that deal
with children from different countries adjusting to life in America;
something like Yang the Youngest and His Terrible Ear by Namioka.
