I received three responses which I will have to follow-up on when I get a
moment. Two books were recommended; Writer's Express: A Handbook of Young
Writers, Thinkers and Learners by Dave Kemper, Ruth Nathan, Patrick Sebranek
and The New York Public Library Kids' Guide to Research avail. in paper @
$6.95. This last book is from Scholastic and includes choosing topic, taking
notes and other steps in the research process. The final suggestion was a
website of a new book on study skills. The address is
