Dear School Media Specialists,
We are library students enrolled in the Graduate School of Library and
Information Science of Queens College/City University of New York. As a
requirement for the Master's of Library Science degree, we are required to
complete a research project. Our topic is "The Use of Multicultural Fiction
in the Elementary School Classroom: The School Library Media Specialist's
Role".
We are writing to request your participation in completing a brief survey.
The survey will be conducted in complete anonymity, and the results will
only be used for this research. If you have been working at the elementary
level for at least two years, we would greatly appreciate your
participation.
If you are interested, please email us at splunge92@att.net. A paper survey
will be sent through the mail to the address you provide. The survey packet
will contain a self addressed and stamped return envelope. The survey will
take ten minutes or less to complete.
