Dear folks, I was wondering if dust is a big problem in your library and what you do about it. I dust all surfaces myself, plus clean all the library tables, computer screens, my desk etc. At the end of each school year I organize volunteers to clean the ends of library shelves with a spray cleaner. However, my library is old (60+ yrs.) with a fair amount of old books. I think that the shelves and tops of books really need to be vacuumed. Do any of your school systems provide anything above and beyond the normal cleaning? We do have kids with allergies and asthma for which we could provide a better physical environment. Thanks so much, Amy Ipp Glenwood School Short Hills NJ LU83@aol.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
