Tech question

Dear great ones,

I need your help.  My iMac computer seems to have developed a glitch.  If I
go on-line or read my e-mail and then try to open Microsoft word, the
computer freezes and I get a =B3type 1 or 2 error=B2.  I have to restart the
computer  in order to work on any Microsoft programs.  This does not happen
with any other program nor does it happen if I save internet and email to
the end of a work session.  Can anyone shed some light on this situation?
