I have been following the DRA reading level comments. I would like to level my collection, obviously section by section over a prolonged period of time. It would serve my teachers as well as parents who come in hoping to help their child in selecting materials. Does anyone know of an automated process that assigns a reading level to each item in the collection? In other words, can I send a disk of my inventory to someone who will assign a reading level within the record. I want to be able to allow patrons to search for particular reading levels. any help or pointers would be appreciated.
